Autumn Term News
We had some fantastic fundraisers last year, notably the family bingo night and the summer fair. We were delighted to see the new equipment installed in the KS2 playground in October and thanks to the generosity of everyone who has attended our fundraisers, we were able to make a contribution of £4,000 towards the cost of the equipment.
This year, we are hoping to continue to raise more money to help with the cost of play equipment for the children and we are already planning a “Cinema Night” to take place in February, so watch out for further details of this in the school newsletter.
Thanks to all who came to the AGM in October and our meeting last week, when we finalised plans for the upcoming school disco on 9th December. We are also planning to have a “totalizer” displayed somewhere in school so that parents and children know how much money we have raised, so watch out for that.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 11th January 2017 at 8pm in the Horse and Farrier Pub. Please come along and join us – new members are always welcome!
