The whole school have had a very exciting morning testing out the rockets we made in class yesterday to see who's flew the highest!

Year 5 Handball Tournament
On Thursday, Year 5 took part in a handball competition at Prince Henry's Grammar school. We competed against two other local schools. The event was organised and run by the sixth form sports coaches and followed on from the lessons last half term by Mrs Fenton Green from PHGS.
We really enjoyed the competition and played lots of different games. Some of us found the games were highly competitive, others thought they were less so and just enjoyed playing against other children.
Happy New year to everyone and we hope 2018 will be prosperous for all.
The children (and staff) have come back refreshed after the holidays and ready to tackle the challenges the year may hold. It has been wonderful to share the stories, family times and news from Christmas. Positive behaviour and good manners have shone through in the first two days and bode well for the future. Well done and keep it up!
Keep an eye on the website for upcoming events this year.
