Year 3 has 22 fantastic children, 15 girls and 7 boys. They are great children, who love to have lots of fun and work hard.

Our teacher is Miss Dowd and Mr Voller is our teaching assistant.

Year 3 are very pleased to be in Key Stage 2. We are looking forward to developing our knowledge and skills in English and problem solving skills in Maths.  We are excited about the new opportunities this year such as being able to go swimming at Prince Henry's and learning musical instruments.

1st October

This morning, we received a letter from the Monster hunters to create a wanted poster for some of the Prehistoric beasts that are on the loose. The children created some fantastic posters with lots of description.

Stone Age

In English and History, we have been looking into how the Stone Age people hunted. We found that they used various weapons to kill their prey, such as; spears, axes and throwing stones. We now know that they used the whole of the mammal for either food, drawing or clothes.
On Thursday, we received a letter from the Prehistoric Hunters, and they wanted us to apply for a job to help them kill the animals for food in the Stone Age. We have completed a job application saying why we would be good candidates for the job. We can't wait to hear back from them!

Collective Worship

Lily Rose and Agnes delivered a beautiful collective worship on Thursday about how we can share Gods love. They thought carefully about the gospel, questions, reflections and prayers.

Music - We are learning to play the Ukulele!

We are so excited to be learning how to play the ukulele! We have started by learning about the strings and how we need to take care and handle this instrument. We have learnt the song GCEA, this song helps us to check if our ukulele are in tune.
