Rewards and Awards

Each week we celebrate the achievements of our children during our Friday morning assembly. We have five main awards: Sunshine Award, Writer of the Week Award, RE Award, Virtue Award and the Maths Award. The Sunshine Award is for children who demonstrate St Joseph’s values, and Jesus’ teachings in and around school. We also have the RE, Writing, Maths and Virtues award, which is given to children for showing progress or excellence in these subjects. If your child is receiving an award, you will be alerted via our text service. 

We also have a merit point system, where children earn points for a variety of rewards such as certificates. ‘dip boxes’, and additional playtime.  Finally, our Good to be Green policy allows children who always demonstrate good behaviour to be acknowledged and rewarded.
